U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chief's Report signed for Mile Point project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that the Chief of Engineer’s Report has been approved and signed for the Jacksonville Harbor (Mile Point) Navigational Study. Board votes to fund ferry through fiscal year

The JAXPORT Board of Directors unanimously voted to end the port’s funding and operation of the St. Johns River Ferry effective Sept. 30, 2012. JAXPORT CEO Paul Anderson pledged continued port support of the community effort to find a new owner/operator to run the service. Read more...
