Women of the Port Exhibit at Amelia Island History Museum: Oct. 5 - Dec. 21, 2012

The Amelia Island Museum of History, in association with JAXPORT is proud to present its “Women of the Port” exhibit. “Women of the Port” is a collection of photographs, recognizing the contributions made by women in the maritime industry. Put together by the Jacksonville Port Authority, the exhibit celebrates the women striving to break barriers and achieve success while working at Jacksonville’s seaport. The photos will display the wide array of jobs held by women, and show how diversity helps to make the Port of Jacksonville a dynamic workplace, as well as one the cities leaders in opportunities for employment. For more information contact Gray at 261-7378 ext 102.
