Attend an exporting 101 seminar on April 16

April 6, 2009

The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce will present a free one-hour program entitled “How to Expand your Market through Exporting: An Introduction to Exporting” on Thursday, April 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at the St. Johns County Convention Center at the World Golf Village (off I-95).

Most consumer goods that are imported and exported through US ports are delivered via containers.

Organizers note that 95 percent of the world’s population — your potential customer base — is outside the United States and growing. Moreover, 75 percent of the world’s purchasing power is outside the United States. Come learn the basics of exporting “Made in USA” products and professional services. Speakers will include Jorge Arce, International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service; and Larry Bernaski, Regional Manager and International Trade Development with Enterprise Florida. For more information, email Jorge Arce.
