Big buildings bound for Fort Buchanan move through Jacksonville

February 6, 2009

On Thursday, Feb. 5 in Jacksonville, Crowley loaded six 74-foot-long modular buildings destined for use as a childcare facility in Puerto Rico. Another 11 buildings will be transported this month. Once connected, the buildings will create a more than 17,000-square-foot childcare center capable of housing approximately 200 children at Puerto Rico’s Fort Buchanan.

“The Crowley team is committed to the Puerto Rico community and we are pleased to be able to provide services that will enhance childcare capabilities at Fort Buchanan,” said Roberto Lugo, vice president of Crowley Puerto Rico services.
