A graphic chart appearing on page B-2 of today’s Florida Times-Union mistakenly names the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) as a donor to Councilman Kevin Hyde’s mayoral campaign.

The chart should have read “Jaxport Refrigerated Services,” which is a private business owned by ICS Logistics.

The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is an independent agency of the City of Jacksonville, and JAXPORT does not donate to political campaigns or causes. A correction is expected to run in Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper.
