Governor Scott appoints two to Jacksonville Port Authority Board of Directors

Governor Rick Scott has announced the appointment of John J. Falconetti and the reappointment of Reginald L. Gaffney to the Jacksonville Port Authority Board of Directors.
Falconetti, 43, of Jacksonville, has been the president of the Drummond Press since 1989. He has served on the Jacksonville Library Board, the Jacksonville Aviation Authority from 2005 to 2008 and was member of the board of directors of Enterprise Florida from 2007 to 2011. Falconetti has been a member of the Jacksonville Downtown Rotary Club since 1995, a member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce’s board of governors from 2007 to 2009 and a member of the Printing Association of Florida from 2006 to 2008. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of the South. He succeeds Lloyd “Buck” Fowler and is appointed for a term beginning Nov. 16, 2011, and ending Sept. 30, 2015.
Gaffney, 53, of Jacksonville, has been the executive director of CRC Inc. since 1993. Since 2000, he has been the president of Northwest Support Services Inc. From 2006 to 2008, Gaffney was a member of the Florida Schools of Excellence Commission. He received his bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University. Gaffney has been a member of the Jacksonville Port Authority since 2008 and is currently the Vice Chairman and is reappointed for a term beginning Nov. 16, 2011, and ending Sept. 30, 2015.
