JAXPORT 2013 Logistics and Intermodal Conference registration opens

The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is pleased to announce registration is open for the 2013 Logistics & Intermodal Conference at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort. The conference, presented with American Shipper magazine, will be held March 18-20 and will examine issues affecting the logistics and intermodal industries.
The conference is limited to 350 registrants. JAXPORT’s previous Logistics & Intermodal Conferences - in 2009 and 2011 - sold out. This event is held once every two years.
This is an opportunity for logistics and transportation professionals to network with leaders in the field and will focus on challenges and opportunities facing industry professionals. The schedule for the 2013 event is as follows:
- March 18 – Evening opening reception
- March 19 – Full-day conference and dinner
- March 20 – Norfolk Southern Golf Tournament
While the focus will be on challenges and benefits facing shippers through southern ports, speakers from around the country will discuss issues common to all logistics and intermodal decision makers. The panelists will include senior executives from major ocean carriers, railroads, shippers and service providers.
