JAXPORT employees lent a helping hand as more than 2,000 people purchased trees, shrubs and bushes for their yards on Saturday, Feb. 26 at the 24th Annual Flowering Tree Sale by Greenscape of Jacksonville. This annual event provides deeply discounted trees to the public and serves as a fundraiser for Greenscape, the local non-profit tree planting volunteer organization. JAXPORT helps sponsor the event, and the Port’s support of the Tree Sale has contributed to more than 55,000 trees being placed in our community over the past five years.
