JAXPORT receives Communicator Award of Distinction

JAXPORT's Economic Impact brochure wins awardThe International Academy of Visual Arts has awarded JAXPORT a 2012 Communicator Award of Distinction for its Economic Impact – JAXPORT brochure.

Published in 2011, the brochure describes JAXPORT’s contributions to the economic growth and vitality of Northeast Florida and details how more than 65,000 jobs are related to port activity throughout the region.

With thousands of entries received from across the U.S. and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), a 550+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. 

“The pool of entries we received for this year’s Communicator Awards serves as a true testament to the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. Each year our entrants continue to amaze by reinventing the ways we communicate and market in an ever-changing industry,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the IAVA.
