The Jacksonville City Council has confirmed Mayor John Peyton’s appointment of retired businessman John E. Anderson to the JAXPORT Board of Directors. Anderson has nearly 40 years of experience as a corporate and community leader and has held management and board positions with several of the region’s largest publicly traded companies, most recently serving as president and Chief Operating Officer of Patriot Transportation Holding, Inc., a transportation and real estate firm.
