The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District will hold a public workshop on the Mile Point project, Monday, August 15 at 5 p.m., UNF’s University Center, 12000 Alumni Drive. Interested individuals are invited to attend and learn more about the planned fix to this obstacle to port growth. There will be a public comment period during the meeting and cards to leave a written note of support. Those interested in being involved who cannot attend can easily email comments in support of the Mile Point project to the project managers via Paul.E.Stodola@usace.army.mil.
