PepsiCo Senior VP Phillips to discuss global megatrends at JAXPORT Conference

John PhillipsThe Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is pleased to announce that John Phillips, Senior Vice President, Customer Supply Chain and Logistics for PepsiCo, Inc. will be the keynote speaker at the JAXPORT 2013 Logistics & Intermodal Conference. He will deliver his remarks on March 19, 2013 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort on Amelia Island, Florida.

Phillips will discuss 12 global megatrends that will impact the consumer value chain.

He has been with PepsiCo for more than 25 years and has worked in various sales and operations roles since joining the company as a route salesperson with Frito-Lay. In his present role, Phillips is responsible for working with PepsiCo’s largest customers on supply chain and collaboration initiatives to drive both effectiveness and efficiency across shared supply chains.

PepsiCo, headquartered in Purchase, NY, is the world’s second largest food and beverage business with net revenues of more than $65 billion and a product portfolio that includes 22 brands generating more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. PepsiCo’s main businesses include Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade, Frito-Lay and Pepsi-Cola, as well as a portfolio of popular brands that include Mountain Dew, Doritos, Tostitos and many others.
