Robert Spohrer joins JAXPORT Board of Directors

Mayor Alvin Brown has appointed Robert F. Spohrer to the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT). Mr. Spohrer replaces Stephen D. Busey on the seven-member JAXPORT Board. The City Council approved Mr. Spohrer’s appointment earlier this week.
Mr. Spohrer is president of Spohrer & Dodd P.L., a Jacksonville-based law office specializing in complex civil litigation. He is board certified by The Florida Bar in both Aviation Law and Civil Trial Law. Mr. Spohrer is active in numerous professional, legal education and civic organizations and is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, an invitation-only organization of the top 100 trial attorneys in the country.
Jacksonville’s mayor appoints four members to JAXPORT’s Board, and Florida’s governor appoints three members.
