The Art Center Cooperative is proud to announce a special exhibition entitled "Our River, Our Muse, Our St. Johns". This exhibition, on display at JAXPORT Gallery through Oct. 7, is being presented as the lead in to an exciting new children's art program currently under development. The program will provide art workshops for a group of selected students focusing on the activities of our port and the ecology of our river.

The Art Center Cooperative, Inc. (TAC) is a non-profit corporation that provides the Jacksonville community with a focused group of professional artists in search of excellence and recognition at their craft. Their membership is willing to work with anyone interested in growing the Jacksonville art industry in order to improve the quality of life for the people of Duval County. The Main Gallery at 31 West Adams Street serves as the primary gallery space for their diverse group of over thirty member artists. The Art Center II on 229 Hogan Street houses studio space for established and emerging regional artists, art exhibits, and offers hands-on workshops for adults and children of all ages. And their newest space, Premier Gallery at Bank of America Tower, features exceptional works in all media and serve as a prime location for juried exhibits and special events.
About JAXPORT Gallery
Located on the first floor of JAXPORT Headquarters, the Gallery features local artists rotating on a bi-monthly basis. JAXPORT Gallery is open during normal JAXPORT Headquarters hours and admission is free. The mission of the JAXPORT Gallery is to showcase local visual arts within Northeast Florida. The Gallery displays new and existing works by emerging and established artists of high quality. Through exhibitions, the Gallery is dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the Jacksonville community, the State of Florida and the Southeast region.
