The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is structured like a modern corporation. JAXPORT's Board of Directors leads a staff of about 150 employees, whom manage and market the port and plan for its improvement. JAXPORT is organized into six main areas: Terminal Operations and Seaport Security; Cruise Operations and Business Development; Planning and Properties; Construction and Engineering; Finance, Administration, Contracts and Corporate Performance; Government and External Affairs, and, Trade Development and Marketing.
