Lisa Diaz is the Managing Grantee for Foreign Trade Zone No. 64 covering the Northeast Florida counties of Baker, Duval, Clay, Nassau, Bradford, Columbia, St. Johns and Putnam; working closely with U.S. Customs and Border Protection in support of our FTZ operators and our port users. Lisa also serves as the port’s primary liaison with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other logistics services providers, offering information, advice and assistance.
Lisa has more than a decade of experience working in transportation and logistics. Most recently, she served as Director of Corporate Communications for Corporate Traffic Logistics, a Jacksonville-based international third-party logistics provider.
Lisa previously managed client relations for The Grimes Companies, a customs-bonded third party logistics warehouse, where she served as the direct contact for U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In this position, she was responsible for the reporting and management of all customs required documentation. She also represented the company with both the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration, assisting with all inspections, inventory and records management.
Lisa is active with a number of professional organizations in the Jacksonville area. She is a past president of the Transportation Club of Jacksonville, a member of both the First Coast Manufacturers Association and the Jacksonville Chapter of the American Marketing Association and has served on the Dean’s Council for Continuing Education at the University of North Florida.
