Joyssy Woody serves as Director of Ocean Carrier and Reefer Development at JAXPORT. In this role, she leads the development of JAXPORT’s container shipping services, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with global ocean carriers. She also promotes JAXPORT’s capabilities in handling fresh and frozen cargo across five continents.

Woody has nearly two decades of experience with some of the world’s leading ocean carriers, most recently serving as Senior Manager of Trans-Pacific Trade for Hapag-Lloyd. Throughout her career, she has held logistics management roles based in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and South America, supporting nearly all major international trade lanes and developing new routings and products. Woody also has experience in perishable cargo and vessel capacity management through previous roles at A.P. Moller–Maersk and global freight forwarder ECU Worldwide.

She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international business management from the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC). She is also completing a master’s degree in international business diplomacy at the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM).

She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
