CONSUMERS IN ONE-DAY DRIVE
JAXPORT IS FLORIDA'S NO. 1 CONTAINER PORT COMPLEX
FAST REACH TO U.S. SOUTHEAST CONSUMER MARKET
Florida is now the nation’s third most populous state – and more than 70 million U.S. consumers live within a one-day truck drive of Jacksonville’s port.
JAXPORT offers worldwide cargo service from dozens of ocean carriers, including direct service with Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, the Caribbean and other key markets.
JAXPORT terminals are serviced by three U.S. interstates (I-10, I-95 and I-75), and the city has 40 daily trains via three railroads: CSX, Norfolk Southern, and Florida East Coast Railway.
The federal project to deepen the Jacksonville shipping channel to 47 feet will offer the largest container ships calling on the U.S. East Coast unobstructed access to the port’s terminals.
The port’s equal balance of imports and exports provides backhaul opportunities, saving money and maximizing transportation costs.
ROOM TO GROW
Northeast Florida has 138 million square feet of distribution center and warehousing space within close proximity to the port.
