Frida, the parent company of Frida Baby and Frida Mom, designs, manufactures, and distributes personal care products for babies and mothers. As demand for its products continues to grow across the U.S., the company is expanding its Jacksonville warehouse and distribution operations.
Frida opened a 270,000-square-foot distribution center in Westlake Industrial Park near JAXPORT nearly two years ago. Now, the Miami-based company just opened another 270,000-square-foot facility next to its current warehouse.
Since Frida’s first days operating in Jacksonville, JAXPORT Cargo Sales Director David Briceno has worked closely with the company to support its supply chain needs, including logistics planning, ocean carrier access, trucking and port services.
“Frida is a true success story,” Briceno said. “By establishing operations in Jacksonville, in the heart of America’s Logistics Center, the company positioned itself to expand its reach. That decision has supported Frida’s continued growth, both domestically and globally.”
Frida moves nearly all of its U.S. cargo through JAXPORT on ocean carrier services, including the Gemini- North America Shuttle offered by Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk, as well as the Premier Alliance-EC3 service provided by Ocean Network Express (ONE), HMM, and Yang Ming. Briceno said the company is doubling its container volume as demand grows and is working closely with its shipping partners to ensure consistent vessel access and reliable transit times, supporting efficient nationwide distribution.
As demand continues to accelerate nationwide, Briceno said Northeast Florida offers strong logistics advantages that help the company meet customer demand and reinforce Jacksonville as a key hub in Frida’s expanding U.S. operations.
