The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) has earned a 2026 Quest for Quality Award from Logistics Management magazine, marking the port’s third consecutive award, and sixth since 2016. Now in its 43rd year, Quest for Quality is one of the transportation and logistics industry’s most respected measures of customer satisfaction and service excellence.

The annual awards are based exclusively on evaluations from qualified buyers of transportation and logistics services. More than 2,800 professionals participated in the 2026 survey, rating ports on ease of doing business, value, ocean carrier network, intermodal network, and equipment and operations. To qualify, a port must earn an overall score above its category average and receive ratings from at least five percent of respondents in that category.

Respondents rated JAXPORT highly for intermodal network, and equipment and operations. The rating in equipment and operations is significant because that’s the highest-priority service attribute in the ports category, according to survey respondents.

The recognition reflects JAXPORT’s continued focus on efficient operations, modern infrastructure and global connections for cargo customers. Investments in new container cranes and modernized berths and terminals strengthen Jacksonville’s ability to serve as a reliable gateway to Florida and the Southeast U.S. These capabilities complement JAXPORT’s strategic advantages, including a 47-foot deepwater shipping channel, two-way ship traffic and same-day access to 98 million U.S. consumers.
