JAXPORT remains open during coronavirus

JAXPORT’s cargo terminals remain open with no restrictions.

The JAXPORT main administrative office located at 2831 Talleyrand Avenue is closed to administrative employees and guests. Administrative employees who can work from home have been asked to do so. Pick ups and drop offs continue to be accepted.

Because port tenants and operators establish their own operating hours at their gated facilities, shippers and BCOs are encouraged to contact tenants directly to confirm their specific operating hours.

Visitors to all primary JAXPORT facilities and office buildings will have their temperatures scanned using a no-touch forehead thermometer prior to entry. Anyone with a temperature higher than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be permitted to enter, per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Cruise Update: Carnival Cruise Line has extended its suspension of cruise service from Jacksonville through at least the end of October. Read more here.

JAXPORT continues to temporarily accommodate cruise ships displaced due to the cruise industry’s suspension of operations. The vessels lay in idle dock at JAXPORT with only crew members–no passengers–on board. There is no recreational shore leave for crew members at any time.

The vessels are all operated by Norwegian Cruise Line and include Norwegian Sky, Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Pearl.
