UPDATE: Monday, Oct. 10

The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port has reopened the Port of Jacksonville with no restrictions.


11:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8

The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port has set modified Condition Four for the Port of Jacksonville. The port is open with some restrictions detailed in the latest bulletin: MSIB 077-16

JAXPORT employees: Non-mission essential personnel should return to work as scheduled on Monday, Oct. 10.


4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8

The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port is maintaining Condition ZULU for the Port of Jacksonville as crews continue to address damage to aids to navigation and minor obstructions in the navigational waterway due to Hurricane Matthew.

JAXPORT marine terminals and facilities are prepared for full operations.

All JAXPORT marine terminals and facilities remain CLOSED to landside and vessel operations pending damage assessment by JAXPORT authorized personnel and official clearance for operations to resume.

Effective 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port has established Port Hurricane condition ZULU for the Port of Jacksonville.

The JAXPORT Access Control Center will close at noon on Thursday, Oct. 6 and remain closed through Friday, Oct. 7.

Access Control will resume normal business hours on Monday, Oct. 10.
