JAXPORT commercial team members visited Puerto Rico in late February, attending the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association’s 1st Supply Chain & Logistics Summit.

In an effort to strengthen relationships with our partners on the island, JAXPORT representatives discussed Jacksonville’s advantages with manufacturers on the island and met with our Jacksonville-based ocean carriers who serve Puerto Rico, including TOTE, Crowley, and Trailer Bridge.

Jacksonville is the number one port in the United States for trade with Puerto Rico, handling nearly 90 percent of all sea trade between the island and the U.S. mainland.
