- JAXPORT Named No. 1 U.S. Coastal Port for Ease of Doing Business
The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) has been recognized as one of the nation’s top-performing ports, earning a 2025 Quest for Quality Award from Logistics Management magazine.
In the annual survey, which is one of the most respected honors in the transportation and logistics industry, JAXPORT earned the highest “Ease of Doing Business” score of any coastal port in North America. The Quest for Quality program evaluates ports in multiple performance areas, with ease of doing business as one of five measured categories.
“Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service every day, complementing the strong schedule reliability and connectivity our customers expect from Jacksonville,” said JAXPORT CEO Eric Green. “With modern facilities, efficient operations, and continuous investment in our capabilities, we’re proud to offer a seamless gateway to Florida and the Southeast U.S.”
In 2025, JAXPORT is building on its strengths with new global ocean carrier services connecting Jacksonville to Europe, Asia and South America. Investments in new container cranes and modernized berths and terminals are driving increased efficiencies for shippers and reinforcing the port’s reputation as a high-performing, customer-focused logistics hub.
The Quest for Quality Awards, now in its 42nd year, are determined by thousands of logistics professionals who rate transportation providers based on their own service experiences. JAXPORT has received the award five times over the past decade.
