GENERAL SUMMARY OF SCOPE – The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is seeking a qualified and licensed company to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to provide DUMPSTER RENTALS AND TRASH COLLECTION SERVICES for various areas of the Port and its Marine Terminals to ensure a reliable, efficient collection system that is responsive to changing requirements. JAXPORT currently requires twenty (20) different types of trash collection units which include sizes ranging from 2yd to 8yd dumpsters, 30yd roll-on/roll-off and on an as needed basis, 40yd roll-on/roll-off dumpsters to meet temporary operational requirements, particularly for disposing of construction debris. JAXPORT reserves the right to add, change or delete locations, dumpster sizes, and/or frequency of service(s) as necessary. The bidder must include all costs for delivery, removal and any other rates associated with the rentals of the dumpsters and trash collection, including all fuel surcharges, environmental fees, and all related services and equipment, excluding Landfill charges. Landfill charges will be billed to JAXPORT at cost and must include a copy of the Duval County franchise fees ticket. All employees and designated drivers assigned to work under this contract will require a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge to access various areas of the Port; escort services will not be provided to perform these duties. Therefore, the purpose of this ITB is to request information about your abilities to provide these services exactly as specified and to obtain a pricing commitment.

QUESTIONS DEADLINE – The deadline for submitting questions by e-mail to Jerrie Gunder at jerrie.gunder@jaxport.com or submitted through Trimble (TID) E-Builder is THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2026 at 4:00 AM (ET).  Questions will then be released by e-mail via an Addendum to all known potential bidders registered in the Trimble (TID) E-Builder website.

BID DUE – before 2:00 PM (ET), on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2026, at which time they will be opened publicly via ZOOM Meeting under MEETING ID: 889 1060 6533 and PASSCODE NO: 080444.
