General Scope of Work: The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is requesting bids from qualified firms to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, to Rehabilitate/Repair Asphalt “Landside” of Wharf from sta. 2+00 to 6+00 by 24’ wide, including area of settlement outside of the 24’ wide strip (Contenda Hole) and several other smaller mill and pave locations along with raising manhole “frames and lid”, valve jackets OR raising with “riser rings”, in accordance with Scope of Work and Contract Specifications.
A Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit will be held on THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2019, AT 10:00 AM (EST) in the Public Meeting Room, 1st Floor of the Port Central Office Building, 2831 Talleyrand Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32206. IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND, YOU MUST CALL (904) 357-3017 TO HAVE YOUR NAME ADDED TO THE SHUTTLE BUS ROSTER. THE SHUTTLE BUS WILL TRANSPORT BIDDERS AFTER THE PRE-BID MEETING TO THE PROJECT SITE. Please bring a hard hat and safety vest.
ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS ENCOURAGED.
IT IS MANDATORY THAT THE BIDDER SHALL ACKNOWLEDGE THE INCLUSION OF ALL ADDENDA ON THE BID FORM, FORM BF. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SHALL BE MADE BY INITIALS AND DATE. FAILURE TO ACKNOWLEDGE ALL ADDENDA SHALL RESULT IN REJECTION OF THE BID.
