GENERAL SUMMARY OF SCOPE – The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is seeking a qualified and licensed firm to provide TRASH COLLECTION SERVICES for various areas of the Port and its Marine Terminals. Service cost must include all cost associated with labor, materials, equipment, fuel surcharges, environmental fees and any other related charges to perform these services in accordance with the specifications.  All employees assigned to work under this contract will be required to have a TWIC Badge for access to certain areas of the Port and its Marine Terminals.  Therefore, the purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to request information about your company’s abilities to provide these services exactly as specified and to obtain pricing commitment.

QUESTIONS DEADLINE – The deadline for submitting questions by e-mail to Jerrie Gunder at jerrie.gunder@jaxport.com or submitted through E-Builder is TUESDAY, JULY 6, 2021 at 9:00 AM (EST).

BIDS DUE – before 2:00 PM (EST) on WEDNESDAY, JULY 21, 2021.   JAXPORT no longer accepts any bid packages submitted by Mail or Hand-Deliveries.

Bids must be submitted prior to 2:00 PM (EST), WEDNESDAY, JULY 21, 2021.  The E-Builder submit button will deactivate exactly at 2:00:00 PM EST and you will not be permitted to submit your Bid regardless of where you are in the process. Please plan accordingly.

*PLEASE NOTE:  Any Bids/Addenda submitted by Email, Fax, Mail or Hand-Deliveries, will not be accepted or considered.
