| Summary | General Scope of Work: The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is requesting sealed bids from responsible bidder for SSA Jacksonville Container Terminal, Container Yard Improvements. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform improvements in paving, fencing, gates, drainage and lighting at the existing SSA Container Terminal, Yard Terminal at Blount Island Marine Terminal. The area to be improved is approximately 80 acres. Sealed bids will be received by JAXPORT up to 2:00 PM (EST), local time, EXTENDED DATE, SEPTEMBER 16, 2021, at which time they shall be opened via “Go To Meeting” at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/528985349, Access Code: 528-985-349 for SSA JACKSONVILLE CONTAINER TERMINAL-CONTAINER YARD IMPROVEMENTS. All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. C-1772. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at 10:00 AM, “Go To Meeting” at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/858306677, Access Code: 858-306-677. (For your bid to be considered a representative from your company must attend the meeting). ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS MANDATORY. Questions: Related to this ITB are due by 12:00 P.M. (EST) on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Submit questions by e-mail only to sandra.platt@jaxport.com Deadline: Bids are due by 2:00 P.M. (EST) Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Bid and contract bonding are required. This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, MARAD FY19 Build Grant, Award No. 693JF72040002. The Small and Emerging Business Participation Goal established for this project is 18%.
