| Summary | General Scope of Work: The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish all labor and equipment to install thirteen (13) solar-powered, pole-mounted radar speed signs with Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) R2-1 speed limit signs at indicated locations on JAXPORT’s Blount Island Marine Terminal. This is a “Turnkey Contract” under which Contractor is responsible for providing the solar powered radar signs and software, the R2-1 speed limit signs; the mounting poles and any necessary mounting hardware, and all materials to install the poles with attached signs and equipment in the ground at the locations specified on Attachment J.2. Sealed bids will be received by JAXPORT up to 2:00 PM (EST), local time, FRIDAY, AUGUST 13, 2021, at which time they shall be opened via “Go To Meeting” at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/310804749, Access Code: 310-804-749 for TURNKEY FURNISH AND INSTALL RADAR SPEED SIGNS (RE-BID). All bids must be submitted in accordance with specifications and drawings for Contract No. MC-1779R. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JULY 29, 2021, AT 10:00 AM, via “Go To Meeting” at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/303473237, Access Code: 303-473-237. ATTENDANCE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF EACH PROSPECTIVE BIDDER IS ENCOURAGED. Questions: Related to this ITB are due by 12:00 P.M. (EST) on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
