GENERAL SUMMARY OF SCOPEThe Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is seeking a qualified and licensed firm to provide “TRASH COLLECTION SERVICES – (RE-BID)” for various areas of the Port and its Marine Terminals. Service cost must include all cost associated with labor, materials, equipment, delivery, pull charges, fuel surcharges, environmental fees, enhanced safety fee, and any other similar charges not listed on the quotation form, excluding Landfill charges.  Landfill charges will be billed to JAXPORT at cost.  All employees assigned to work under this contract will be required to have a TWIC Badge for access to certain areas of the Port and its Marine Terminals.  Therefore, the purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to request information about your company’s abilities to provide these services exactly as specified and to obtain pricing commitment.

QUESTIONS DEADLINE – The deadline for submitting questions by e-mail to Jerrie Gunder at or submitted through E-Builder is FRIDAY, AUGUST 27, 2021 at 9:00 AM (EDT).  Questions will then be released by e-mail via an Addendum to all known prospective Bidders registered in the E-Builders website.

BIDS DUE before 2:00 PM (EDT) on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2021.  Bids and all required supplemental material listed in Article III (items to be submitted with Bid Form) must be electronically submitted in PDF format only through E-Builder.  Bid documents submitted through Email or Fax will not be accepted or considered. JAXPORT no longer accepts any bid packages submitted by Mail or Hand-Deliveries.

 PLEASE NOTE:  Any Bids/Addenda submitted by Email, Fax, Mail or Hand-Deliveries, will not be accepted or considered.
