GENERAL SUMMARY OF SCOPE – The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is soliciting proposals from Certified Public Accounting Firms/Individuals interested in providing comprehensive INTERNAL AUDITOR SERVICES. The primary objective of this contract will be to perform approximately 3-4 annual internal audit reviews of JAXPORT department’s internal policies, procedures and business practices. All audits are to be performed in accordance with applicable Accounting and Auditing Standards.  This is an evaluated contract and will be awarded to one (1) Proposer submitting the most responsive and responsible proposal that, when evaluated, is deemed to be in the best interest of both entities. The initial terms of this contract will be for three (3) years with three (3) additional, one (1) year renewal options made at the mutual discretion of JAXPORT and the awarded Proposer. Therefore, the purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to request information about your abilities to provide these services exactly as specified and to obtain a pricing commitment.

EXTENDED PROPOSAL DUE – before 2:00 PM (EST) on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2023.  Proposals and all required supplemental material listed in Article III (items to be submitted with Proposal Form) must be electronically submitted in PDF format only and uploaded into E-Builder. FAILURE TO UPLOAD ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AS REQUESTED IN THE RFP WILL BE GROUNDS FOR REJECTION. JAXPORT no longer accepts any proposals/bid packages submitted by Email, Fax, Mail or Hand-Deliveries.
