JAXPORT's oversized cargo berth delivers…again!

Highly trained master riggers at Portus moved a Bell 222 twin-engine light helicopter destined for South Africa across JAXPORT’s heavy lift and oversized cargo berth at Blount Island Marine Terminal on Thursday, Jan. 29.

Purchased for private use, the helicopter was prepared for shipment in Apopka, Fla., then trucked to JAXPORT, the nearest port offering direct service to the Port of Durban in South Africa.
